Beginning on January 17, 2018, the monthly Virtual Town Hall meetings will be held on the third Wednesday of the month at 3 PM Central Time. The town hall provides a time for ACEND to share updates on its standards work and for stakeholders to ask questions. The deadline to submit material for the April issue of the Journal’s People & Events sections is February 1.The People & Events section is a venue for announcements, obituaries, and educational opportunities that will be of interest to Academy members and Journal subscribers. A People & Events item should not exceed 150 words. CDR is in the process of revising the Accredited Provider Program Standards. Beginning June 1, 2018, State Affiliates who are currently Accredited Providers of CDR will be required to pay the annual Maintenance Fee of $300. Any State Affiliate who wishes to apply to become an Accredited Provider will be required to pay the $500 Application fee as well as the annual maintenance fee of $300.
